3 Trendiest Colours of 2020

2020 is shaping up to be a cozy year in home decor colours. Pale pink isn’t just for a little girl’s bedroom – it’s showing up on office chairs, throw pillows and kitchenware. Paint company Benjamin Moore even named their soft pink hue “First Light” the 2020 colour of the year. If you like pink, but not enough to slather it on your walls, try adding it to your home via easy to change accessories – and keeping your walls and furniture grey or white. The next colour trend making an impression in 2020 is rusty hues like deep red and burnt orange. These tones are both luxurious and casual and can be incorporated into any space. Pair with textures like velvet and knits to up the comfy factor. Lastly, right in line with the previously mentioned red and orange is the colour mustard yellow. With all the cheeriness of a bolder yellow, just not as blindingly bright, mustard yellow is a more sophisticated take on the rainbow’s happiest colour. It also pairs well with grey – meaning you can add in a few mustard-hued accessories to punch up a neutral space.
