TREND ALERT: PLANT-FILLED INTERIORS

Go back to Blog

Time to bring the outdoors inside – literally! Plants, trees, rocks and water features are currently on trend. Interior Design magazine recently hosted an Instagram photo contest encouraging followers to post their best images of leafy greens perfectly integrated with modern spaces. A staircase in FSC certified white oak in a London office building features built-in planters along its painted steel handrail. A New York City workspace incorporates glass-enclosed topiaries filled with succulents and white rocks. A master bathroom in Singapore layered with deep green tropical plants creates a spa-like setting. A Washington DC cafe has a floor to ceiling, moss-covered living wall. And, of course, simple potted plants filling the interiors of homes, businesses, churches and restaurants. Can’t you just smell the clean, plant-filtered air?
