THREE WAYS TO BE MORE THOUGHTFUL

Go back to Blog

Thoughtfulness often seems like a lost art. If you find yourself longing for the days when people did nice things for each other

– just because, be the change you want to see in the world with these three ways to be more thoughtful.

  1. Say it by postal mail. A handwritten card or letter arriving in the mail will be a welcome surprise to your friends and family. Brighten up someone’s day by mailing them a personalized note, card or letter.
  2. Have a meaningful conversation. Go beyond text messages and emojis and have a real conversation with someone – a friend, a family member, a stranger. Ask them about their goals or their passions and then listen purely out of curiosity. And if the opportunity presents itself, ask if you can help or simply offer words of encouragement. Think how touched you’d be if someone did the same for you.
  3. Share. This can be as big as donating time or money to a charity, or as small as sharing a smile with a passerby in the street. When we share, we show others we care. Furthermore, sharing our possessions and ourselves puts others first – making their day and perhaps even changing their life.
