It may still be fall, but the design industry is already looking
ahead to spring and summer. The colour experts at Pantone
have released the sixteen shades that will fill our interiors in
2019.
Think bold, spirit-lifting and creativity-inducing colours
such as Fiesta – a festive orange-red and spicy Turmeric.Still
bright, but more subdued shades such as Living Coral and Pink
Peacock are also on the horizon. Moving away from the reds and
pinks, yellow-green Pepper Stem and cheerful Lemon Verbana
add fun and sunshine to your spaces while majestic Princess
blue and creamy Toffee bring a hint of elegance. If neutral is
more your thing, Pantone’s got a few shades sure to soothe your
senses. Colours with names like Soybean and Sweet Corn offer
soft beiges to add warmth. Still considered neutral, but more
dramatic, are deep blue-black Eclipse and a chocolate shade
named Granite Brown. Colours like Jester Red, Mango Mojito,
Terrarium Moss and Pressed Rose round out the list.
